CMSA Story Night – Stories from Surat Al-Kahf   Join us for an inspiring evening with Shaykh Yahya Ibrahim as he explores the timeless lessons from Surat Al-Kahf — the chapter of the Qur’an we recite every Friday as a shield from tribulations. Through the stories of the People of the Cave, Dhul Qarnain, Musa and Al-Khidr, and more, Shaykh Yahya will share wisdoms and reflections that are relevant to our daily lives.   The night will also feature a fun Kahoot quiz, congregational ‘Isha prayer, and refreshments.   📅 Friday 17th October ⏰ 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM 📍 Tim Winton Lecture Theatre, Curtin University   This is a ticketed event. The CMSA is excited to host a 2-day seminar on the Explanation of Qaseedah Al-Llamiyyah by Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, delivered by Shaykh Shamsdeen Ali (Graduate of Shariah from King Saud University). The text selected is a text in the Islamic science of Creed, (Islamic beliefs/Aqeedah), it is a 13 line poem that is considered suitable for beginners and beneficial for all. In Sha’a Allah take some time out, and come and benefit. 🗓 Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th September ⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM (with a break each day) 📍 Curtin University (near Mussalah) 🥤 Light refreshments will be provided The whole community is welcome to join, brothers and sisters, young and old. Join the CMSA for an adventerous Day camp initiative, the "Unplug and Recharge"   Uni can get a bit stressful, with all the assignments, tests and due dates making us feel the pressure, Insha'a Allah, this tuition free week the CMSA would like to present a chance to get to break out the comfort zone and spend time with fellow students. The event will only take a few hours, where BROTHERS and SISTERS will SEPERATELY get to embark on exciting activities in respective designated areas.
